Description
Our High Heat Festival Braid is made from heat resistant synthetic fiber and is commonly used for festival and rave braid styles. It's quite durable and tough, has a heat resistance of 250°F (120°C), sometimes higher, and tends to be a little bit more slinky and slippery than kanekalon jumbo braid.
Due to the smoother texture and denser fiber, Festival Braid packs are less voluminous than packs of jumbo braid in the same weight. You can see a size comparison of Festival Braid next to different styles of jumbo braid here. If you're using it for box braids, we recommend getting a couple more packs than you normally would use; most of our customers use around 8-14 packs of Festival Braid for a full head of box braids.
Boiling water usually isn't quite hot enough to seal Festival Braid. Festival Braid will not shrink down like regular kanekalon, and will stay quite soft even when it's set. You can learn more about working with Festival Braid here.
This closeout lot includes 80 packs of hair.
Please note that for returns, closeout lots are considered a single item. If you decide to return a closeout lot, you must send back the entire thing to be eligible for a refund.

Texture: Smooth, only very slightly kinky yaki texture. Festival Braid strands are slightly thicker in diameter and a bit denser than kanekalon jumbo braid.

Services & Estimates: Most orders placed and paid for by 8:00 AM PT Monday through Friday usually ship out the same business day. Orders placed after 8:00 AM PT usually ship out the following business day.
Business days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or holidays.
Orders placed while we are closed over the weekend ship out on the following Monday.
After that, delivery times depend on where you're located and which shipping method you choose. The times listed below for USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, Free Shipping, and all of the international options are estimates and are not guaranteed; sometimes the mail is slower during times of high volume like holidays, delayed due to bad weather (especially during winter), and sometimes international packages are delayed due to customs.
USPS Priority Mail Express is a guaranteed service for shipments delivered in the United States. The guaranteed delivery date is the one that is displayed in the shopping cart during checkout and on your receipt, not the one on the USPS website. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee overnight delivery, and we do not ship via DHL, FedEx, or UPS. We do not ship to any countries other than the United States, Canada, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand. The only available shipping options are the ones listed above.
Shipping Costs: Orders of $75.00 or more ship for free anywhere in the US. If you choose the free shipping option during checkout, your order will be shipped by whatever shipping method (or combination of shipping methods) is most economical. For all other orders, shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of your order, where it's being shipped to, and which shipping method you choose.
Returns Policy
General: You may return unused, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the value of the goods. The 30 days begins when you receive your delivery, and ends when you mail the return. Transit times do not count towards the time limit for returns.
Closeout lots are considered a single product for return purposes. In order to get a refund on one, you must return the entire closeout lot.
Please note that shipping is not refundable. You do not need to contact us before sending your return.

Returns: All items must be in their original, unopened packaging and clearly unused in order to be eligible for a return. If an item is returned to us opened, used, or late, we will not accept the return and the item will only be sent back at the customer's expense.
Exchanges: We do not do exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item for a refund, and place a new, separate order for what you'd like to replace it with.
Incorrect/Damaged Items: In cases of incorrect (for example, the wrong color or size) or damaged items, we offer the option of either a replacement with the correct item, store credit, or a refund. Please do not use the product, especially if it's damaged, as we will need you to return it.
Refunds: We issue refunds immediately after we process returns, but it may take anywhere from a few hours to 3-10 business days for the refund to begin showing in your account.
Our return address is a PO box. We check the PO box and process returns once per week, on Monday afternoons.
