Our original line of kk jumbo braid (in the black packaging) is not pre-stretched and has a very tight crimp to it. It was designed dread-making, so it bunches up a bit when sealed. For best results with braids, you'll want to braid all the way down to the ends without any loose bits, or hold the loose ends straight when dipping. It comes in 100g packs, which is a little bit fuller than average.

Our manufacturer for this hair has gotten a bit inconsistent over the years; some batches come in shinier than others, and sometimes colors change slightly (darker or lighter, more or less vibrant, etc). Make sure to check the description and pictures before ordering if you're looking to match hair you purchased previously to ensure that it hasn't changed.

Our kk jumbo braid is not hypoallergenic. We recommend doing an ACV rinse to remove the alkaline lye coating on it prior to installing.
