Highlight Braid is a style of kanekalon jumbo braid where the individual strands of hair are multicolored. It's similar to our multicolored Festival Braid, but it seals much easier with boiling water or steam. Perfect for making dread extensions, box braids, and twists!
Highlight Braid can sometimes bleed when used with hair care products, especially those containing tea tree or orange oil. If you normally use conditioning oil on your natural hair or scalp, stick with regular kk jumbo braid or high heat multicolored kanekalon instead -- or do a deep cleanse to remove any oil products from your natural hair prior to installing Highlight Braid. We recommend doing an ACV rinse prior to installing the hair to remove excess dye and minimize bleeding.
Length: 24" folded, 48" unfolded (60 cm folded, 120 cm unfolded).
Weight: 2.0 ounces (56 g).
Texture: Kinky jumbo braid texture, similar to RastAfri Classic Braid and kinkier than RastAfri Freed'm Silky Braid. This hair is softer than most other types of kk jumbo braid, but it's not as slippery as Festival Braid.
Brand: RastAfri Highlight Braid.
Color: Nebula. 1B Off Black at the top, fading down into a dark purple with bright pink at the tips (labeled as "3T1B/PP/PK" on the packaging).
Please note that this color varies quite a bit from batch to batch; if you've ordered it in the past or have bought it elsewhere, the color you have may not be the same as the one that's in stock now. The product pictures are of the current version of the color that is in stock.

Please make sure to put the sample in a plastic bag along with a note indicating what product you want your sample matched with (for example, something like "kanekalon jumbo braid" or "RastAfri marley braid") and your email address in the envelope. When we receive it, we'll match it up and let you know what comes closest.
Please do not put your e-mail address inside the plastic bag. The only thing that should be in the bag is the hair sample.
