DUE TO A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, IKS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL LATE AUGUST.
On June 28th, I almost died from blood loss. 4 days in the ICU, 3 surgeries, and 3 blood transfusions later, I am back home and on the way to a full recovery, but it's going to take a long time. Right now, my mobility is very limited and I can't lift anything over 15 lbs, so I'm not physically able to pack orders. The recovery time for the first 3 surgeries I had is about 6 weeks (wait, the first 3? Read on!)
Here is a tentative timeline for when IKS will be back up and running:
July 2nd
Returns will be processed this week right on schedule. I have a family member picking them up and opening the packages, but I'm personally inspecting them and issuing refunds.
July 5th
Customer service hours resume! I most likely will not be available 8-12 like usual, but I will log in at least once per day Monday through Friday to respond to messages.
Late July/early August
One more surgery! This is a small outpatient procedure and will be what determines the official reopening date. Once I'm recovered from the final surgery, I'll be able to work again.

Glow Yaki Braid
100% synthetic glow in the dark hair extensions. Our Glow Yaki Braid has a similar texture to Festival Braid and Sparkle Braid, so it's great for festival/rave braid styles.
Glow in the dark hair will glow brighter if you let it "charge" in the sun or under a bright light for a bit before putting it in the dark.
Glow in the dark hair is also UV reactive, and will glow under blacklight. The UV light from a blacklight will also work for "charging" the hair, the same way that actual sunlight does.
Since this hair isn't kanekalon, dreads made entirely from it may not hold up as well over time, but it will work for streaks or blends. It doesn't shrink down when heated with boiling water or steam like kanekalon does, but it will hold its shape once set.
This hair does not have an alkaline lye coating on it, but if you've got a sensitive scalp, it never hurts to do an ACV rinse anyway!
