'Tis the season for the mail to be slowwww!
Package delivery is always a little slower around the holidays due higher volume and harsh winter weather. The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that the postal service (and private couriers like UPS and FedEx) have been dealing with that kind of volume nonstop since March of 2020.
So now when those extra holiday packages start going out, it's pandemic volume + holiday volume + snow. Yikes! Last year, there were significant delivery delays from mid-October through the end of March, and we expect this year to be similar. Because of this, we recommend getting your domestic Christmas and New Year's Eve orders in before Thanksgiving this year -- not just from us, but in general.
For Halloween, we recommend ordering before the end of September.
If you are outside the US, it's best to stick with options you can find locally. We cannot guarantee delivery by Halloween, Christmas, or New Years Eve for international destinations this year.
