By making a Rush Processing Request at I Kick Shins, you agree to all of the policies listed below. If you do not understand all or part of our policies, it is your responsibility to contact us prior to ordering for clarification. All of our policies are non-negotiable; we will NOT make exceptions to any of them for any reason.

Rush Processing
Rush processing is available on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to refuse any rush order. Rush processing is not available on any items listed as "special order." Please check the processing times listed on the front page to see if rush processing is available. If rush processing is not avaialble and you submit a request anyway, we will not process it until we are accepting rush orders again.

Do NOT place a regular order through the shopping cart if you want rush processing! Please fill out the form below instead. THE RUSH PROCESSING FORM AND THE SHOPPING CART ARE COMPLETELY SEPERATE FROM EACH OTHER.

We need at least 2-5 days notice for domestic rush orders and 5-7 days notice for international, depending on the content of the order and the shipping options available to the destination.

Submitting a Request
If we are able to accomodate your order, we will send you a Paypal money request. Usually, you will have 24 hours from the time we send the request to send payment, however this timeframe may be longer or shorter depending on the contents of your order and your delivery deadline. Your order will automatically be cancelled if you do not pay the request in time, so if you decide to cancel the order, you don't need to take any action -- just don't pay the request.

If part of your order is out of stock or if there are multiple shipping options available, we will e-mail you and let you know. Please note that if this is the case, the speed of your reply will affect our ability to accomodate your request. Its a good idea to check your e-mail 2-3 times a day if you have a pending rush processing request.

Pricing and Fees
Rush orders are subject to processing fees in addition to the regular pricing on the website. Our rush processing fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.

Custom Items: The rush processing fee for custom items is 50% of the value of the item. Custom items include Loose Falls, Silky Curls, Cyberlox Falls, Custom Streaks/Fringes, Dreads, Braids, and Twists.

Non-Custom Items: The fee for all other rush orders is $20.00. Non-Custom Items include Plastic & Foam, Hair Accessories, Apparel & Purses, Jewelry, Braiding Hair, Manic Panic Glam Strips, Weaving Hair, Direct Sale, and Cyberlox/Crin.

Returns
General: We do not accept returns or exchanges on rush orders.

Incorrect/Damaged Items: In cases of incorrect (for example, the wrong color or size) or damaged items, we offer the option of either a replacement or a partial refund as long as the item is clearly unused. We will cover the cost of return shipping. To be eligible for a return, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the item and return it to us within 14 days of receipt of the item in order to receive a refund. We will NOT give refunds for items unless you return them.

In the event that an item is returned to us late, damaged, or worn/used, we will not issue a refund and will return the item at the customer's expense.

Shipping
All rush orders are subject to charges for expedited shipping. The following shipping options are available for rush orders: 1-2 day Express Mail (United States), 3-5 day Global Express Mail (International), and 1-3 day Global Express Guaranteed (International).

Sorry, but we do not ship rush orders via First Class Mail or Priority Mail.

We are not responsible for customs, VAT, or any other charges you may incur if you are an international customer. If a package is returned to us because of a refusal to pay import fees of any kind, the customer will receive a refund for the returned merchandise only; we will NOT refund shipping. If fees are a concern, it is the customer's responsibility to contact their country's customs office, postal service, and any other applicable agencies prior to ordering.

It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with a deliverable shipping address. If you do not provide us with your complete, correct shipping address and your package is consequently returned to us, you must pay shipping again before we will resend it. This rule also applies to unclaimed packages. If a package is at the post office, it is the customer's responsibility to pick it up before it is returned to sender. We will not cover the cost to reship packages that are unclaimed.

If the USPS makes a mistake and returns a package even though the address was correct, we will reship it at our expense one time (or offer a full refund if the deadline for the order has passed). If it is returned to us again, the customer must pay for reshipments thereafter.

Payment
We accept payment via Paypal for rush orders -- we do NOT accept cash, money orders, personal checks, or any other kind of payment that has to be sent through the mail. We DO NOT accept e-checks through Paypal for rush orders! We require payment within 24 hours of all rush processing requests; e-checks take several days to clear, so they are not available as a payment option for rush orders. If you send us an e-check, we will cancel it. Please do not request rush processing if you are unable to pay within 24 hours of our reply.

When we send billing for rush orders, we include a payment deadline. The deadlines are always Pacific Standard Time (PST) and are the absolute latest that you can pay for the order and have it delivered on time. If you pay after the payment deadline, we will not be able to meet your delivery date.


Insurance
Insurance is included in the shipping cost on all rush orders.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are in United States Dollars (USD). Prices are non-negotiable.

Order revisions
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ORDER REVISIONS. Please make sure to order carefully. Once you place your order, you cannot change it.

Allergy Warning!
I Kick Shins is a home-based business. One of the members of our household is a charming little orange cat named Captain. Captain knows better than to mess with your items, but since he is covered in fur, there's a chance that a stray hair of his might come into contact with your order. If you have severe pet allergies or have a problem with our cat for any other reason, please consider ordering from a seller who does not have pets.

Colors
Please note that colors vary from monitor to monitor; colors may be slightly lighter or darker than they appear, depending on your monitor's settings. The color swatches on the website are a guide only, and should not be taken literally. We do NOT offer refunds or returns if a color does not appear in person as it does on your monitor. If you are concerned about what a color looks like in person, it is your responsibility to order samples, e-mail us and ask for a better description, or take advantage of our color matching service.

Furthermore, the names of colors on our website do not necessarily match the names printed on the bags of hair that you will receive if ordering bulk hair. Because we carry multiple brands, we have many colors with the same names; for example, we have two colors labelled as "hot pink," but we list one of those shades as "neon magenta" because the two colors are completely different from each other.

This applies to cyberlox as well; we oftentimes do not use the manufacturer's names for colors, so the name on the color chart will not always match up to the name printed on the bag that you receive. If you need to know the exact brand name/color name as given by the manufacturer, it is your responsibility to contact us BEFORE ordering.

Discount Vouchers
Discounts are NOT available on rush orders.

Terminology
We adhere to the following interpretations of terms for all custom braid, twist, and dread orders:
Accents - solid colored accents, i.e. a fall consisting of 30 black dreads and 10 red dreads would be considered to be black base with red accents.

Base - the predominant color of the fall, i.e. a fall consisting of 30 black dreads and 10 red dreads would be considered to be black base with red accents.

Streaks/Highlights - thin streaks of color added onto another. For example, a black dread with red streaks would be predominantly black with some black dreads that have thin streaks of red in them (and no solid red pieces).

Swirls - two colors twisted together for a candy cane effect. There are equal amounts of each color in a swirl.

Blends - two or more colors are mixed together to create the illusion of a new color. For example, a blend of emerald green and navy blue will create a turquoise color.

Please make sure to use the proper terminology when placing a custom order to ensure that you get what you want; you will not be entitled to a refund if you are unclear about your color specifications.

Please be specific and include your color choices. If a color is out of stock or on backorder, then we may not be able to rush your order. YOU MUST GIVE US DETAILS ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO ORDER. WE CANNOT GIVE YOU A PRICE QUOTE OR DETERMINE IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO RUSH YOUR ORDER IF WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.
